These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Property and Rent Consult website (www.propertynrentconsult.homes), its digital products, and its advisory services. By accessing this site or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About PRC
Property and Rent Consult ("PRC") is a property and tenancy advisory consultancy based in Accra, Ghana. PRC produces Act 220-compliant tenancy documents, operates a Knowledge Hub, provides written advisory services, and publishes tools for Ghanaian tenants, landlords, and property professionals.
2. Not legal advice
Nothing on this site — including Knowledge Hub articles, resource tools, product descriptions, advisory reports, or any other content — constitutes legal advice. PRC's content is professional guidance grounded in the Rent Act, 1963 (Act 220) and the Rent Regulations, 1964 (L.I. 369). It is intended to inform, not to substitute for the advice of a qualified legal practitioner. For matters requiring legal representation, please consult a solicitor.
3. No representation in Rent Control proceedings
PRC provides advice and prepares documentation. PRC does not appear for or represent any party in proceedings before the Rent Control Department or any tribunal, and engagement of PRC confers no advantage in any matter before any Rent Control office. Principals of PRC who hold positions in the Rent Control Department act in those capacities independently of PRC.
4. Digital product licence
Each PRC digital product (tenancy agreement, lease, offer letter, or any other template) is sold under a single-user licence. This licence permits you to:
- Edit the product to reflect your specific parties, premises, and terms.
- Use the product for your own tenancies, properties, or — if you are a professional — for the clients of your own practice.
This licence does not permit you to:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicence, or share PRC products — in original or edited form — to any third party for commercial gain.
- Publish or upload PRC products to any platform, library, or document-sharing service.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any PRC attribution, disclaimer, or statutory reference embedded in a product.
Breach of this licence terminates your right to use the product immediately and may give rise to a claim for damages.
5. Purchases and refunds
Digital products are delivered electronically via Selar immediately after confirmed payment. Because products are delivered and accessible at the point of purchase, they are generally non-refundable. However:
- If you do not receive your product after payment, contact us within 48 hours and we will resend it or issue a refund.
- If a product contains a material error that renders it unfit for its stated purpose, we will correct and reissue it, or issue a refund at our discretion.

6. Advisory services
Advisory engagements are governed by the scope document agreed between PRC and the client before work begins. PRC's written advisories are professional opinions based on the information provided by the client. PRC is not liable for outcomes arising from information that was incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld at the time of engagement.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including Knowledge Hub articles, product texts, tools, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of Property and Rent Consult and is protected under applicable Ghanaian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, adapt, or distribute any content from this site without our prior written consent, except for brief quotations with attribution and a link to the source page.
8. Accuracy and availability
PRC takes reasonable care to ensure that content on this site is accurate and up to date, particularly with respect to statutory references. However, law and practice change. PRC does not warrant that all content is current at the time of your reading, and recommends verifying statutory positions independently for critical decisions. PRC may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site or its services at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, PRC's liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, its products, or its advisory services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. PRC is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses, including loss of rental income, loss of a tenancy, or costs of litigation.
10. Third-party links
This site may contain links to external websites (including Selar, the Rent Control Department, and government resources). PRC is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those sites. Links are provided for convenience only.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from your use of this site or purchase of a PRC product shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
12. Changes to these Terms
PRC may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
